What the FEOC is

A game born in Québec. A federation to build across Canada. Together.

The ÉCHEC O CUBE Federation (FEOC) is the official body that governs, structures and promotes the game of ÉCHEC O CUBE nationwide. A discipline born here, in Québec, in 1999.

The FEOC's mission is to establish the official rules, manage the national EOC Rating ranking, organize recognized tournaments, award official titles and affiliate clubs across Canada.

Why the FEOC changes everything

ÉCHEC O CUBE is not just another board game. It is a strategic discipline with a mechanism unique in the world — protected by copyright CIPO Canada No. 477714 since 1999. A discipline that deserves its federation, its championships, its Grand Masters, and its legends.

By joining the FEOC, you do not just become a member of an organization. You become a co-founder of a worldwide movement. You are part of the first generation — the one people will talk about in 50 years.

The three official FEOC titles

CMEOC — EOC Candidate Master
First official title. Awarded to players who master the rules and take part in affiliated tournaments.

MEOC — EOC Master
Confirmed player with an established EOC Rating. Recognized by the federation.

GMEOC — EOC Grand Master
The supreme title. The first GMEOCs in history will be recognized for life in the annals of the FEOC.

The EOC Rating ranking

The EOC Rating is the FEOC's official ranking system, inspired by the Elo system used in classic chess and adapted to the tactical particularities of ÉCHEC O CUBE. You earn points in every tournament — and you can even gain some while losing, if you face a higher-ranked opponent.

Your EOC Rating is your identity in the competitive world. It travels with you from tournament to tournament, city to city, country to country.

Found an FEOC-affiliated club

Do you run a café, a library, a college, a community centre? The FEOC will support the first founding clubs with help, advice and priority access to the tournament calendar.

Founding clubs will receive:

  • Priority visibility in the official FEOC club registry
  • The right to hold official FEOC tournaments
  • Personalized support from the FEOC to launch your club
  • Priority access to teaching resources

A federation is built with people. Those people are you.

The FEOC will not be carried by a multinational or an investment fund. It will be built by those who believe — as we do — that a Québec game can become a worldwide discipline. By you.

Our priority today is to build the community: legally constitute the Federation, develop the online EOC Rating system, organize the first official tournaments in Québec, create teaching resources for affiliated clubs, and bring ÉCHEC O CUBE into schools and colleges.

You are not just buying a game. You are building a legend.

Join the movement now. Sign up to be informed first about the next steps.
